A Team Captain’s Preview 2023

The A team have their sites set on promotion once again this season.

Seeing a largely unchanged team further improve their fitness and strength throughout the winter months they set about putting these learnings into practice in Helmond International Tournament in early April and are now ready for the 2023 season.

When asked for comments on the A Team’s hopes, dreams and aspirations for 2023 Pete Smith, A Team Captain, said “I’ve started thinking about it” [06/02/2023], later adding “On my honour (what little there is), I’ll get this over to you tomorrow” [25/02/2023].

Somewhat cryptic messages from the captain but there is no doubt most of his talking will be done on the pitch.
