End of Season Social
After a couple of years of COVID restrictions, the Wildcats Christmas Formal 2022 was a long anticipated end of year celebration, and oh what a night!
Spicing up the previous traditional curry house Christmas do with seasonal jumpers, the club turned out in central Manchester in their finest formal gear for rum tasting and pizza, and later a boogie in town.
Considering how accustomed we have become to seeing each other in wet kit, it was quite the occasion seeing everyone in their glammed up attire - everyone looked marvellous!
It was indeed an evening of much to celebrate - since our last Christmas Do and end of season awards (back in 2019?!!!) we have had massive growth in the club and Wildcats life! We can proudly say we’ve achieved…
⭐ 4 competitive teams
⭐ 2 ladies teams, an exponential growth in club development
⭐ A home venue at Sale Water Park, hosting tournaments and a number of development days
⭐ Astounding charitable efforts from Movember tournaments
⭐ Wildcats competing on the continent, including stepping onto the podium at De Paddle!
⭐ And much much more!
⭐ There has been much growth, fun and brilliant polo, what a pleasure it has been to celebrate with a club of great friends.
The evening wouldn’t be complete without awards! Many congratulations go to…
🏆 A Team Player - Maziar Gregg
🏆 B Team Player - Ruth Harrison
🏆 C Team Player - Alice Mackay
🏆 Sky’s the Limit - Jamie Marshall
🏆 Naughty Naughty - James Stockton
🏆 Heart of Gold - Justin McLuckie
🏆 Golden Helmet Award - Mary Sharples
Thank you so much again to everyone who attended the Wildcats Formal last night, who made it such a lovely evening and a great celebration of club and individual development! Here’s to another year of fun, friends and great polo.
